Wines

Wines As a shareholder of late, and catalyst by the now defunct LCBO strike, i have been buying some of their wines.

1) the best cheap wine i had was a very interesting Peller mix of Baco Noir & their Pinot Noir. I believe it was called Double Black. It is out of stock at the Loblaws i utilize so will check their online at some point.

2) the Peller Cab Franc isn't bad, a bit more bite than the Brand's single grape Pinot's and Baco and not just because of the grapes - perhaps it is related to their year?

3) a blended French and Ontario red was overpriced at $19.

4) the Great One's Baco wasn't bad though  not sure the premium $ was there but interesting enough that I will have to try again.

5) their more upscale Rosehall Run Pinot is light in colour , even for a burgundy, and the initial taste is equally light, but then it sticks around and captures some nice depth- $22 isn't a bad $ for it.

i wonder if shareholder's can get a discount on visits to their properties? All in all i have found their wines better than the Houses that sell through the other Wine store competitor.
