Electra Battery Materials Corporation is a Canada-based processor of low-carbon, ethically sourced battery materials. The Company is focused on building a supply of cobalt, nickel and recycled battery materials. It is engaged in the business of battery materials refining, including refining material from mining operations and from the recycling of battery scrap and end of life batteries. It owns two main assets: the refinery located in Ontario, Canada and the Iron Creek cobalt-copper project located in Idaho, United States. Its projects include Ontario Refinery, Recycling, Becancour, North American Nickel and Iron Creek. It is in the process of constructing its expanded hydrometallurgical cobalt refinery, assessing the various optimizations and modular growth scenarios for a recycled battery material (known as black mass) program, and exploring and developing its mineral properties. The Iron Creek Project consists of mining patents and exploration claims over an area of 3,300 hectares.

RE:RE:FundingYes starkicker, it is nice to see some incoming monies to get this plant up and running. 

But, I habe to say why is this taking so long to happen?

Does the U.S. and Canada (to a much lesser degree) want people in EVs as soon as possible.

Look at China, they saw the future way before North America and this dummy in Canada called TRUDEAU wants people here in Electric Vehicles but what is the real incentive?

No proper infrastructure, No decent mileage per powered up battery. No plant up and running to 
produce the batteries. All still being built!!!!!

Cobalt in the ground in few places in Canada and all the manuvering for the ore and this should all have been done and signed up contracts.

What are these people waiting for???

China has all of these highly intellegent CEOs BEAT to the CORE.

And if Trump gets in, will there be more money???????
