Also, youre ill-timed investment in ARX shows the dangers of day trading and market-timing. Great company but nobody can predict the direction of short-term price moves. You've proven that.

The oil sell off does not make sense, especially in the wake of lowering interest rates. The trading of oil futures is a paper market and reacts in real time but does not alway represent the physical reality of the market. 

Total commercial petroleum inventories decreased by 14.6 million barrels last week.
