RE:ValuationsTempo, I support anyone in their targets and they are free to sell when their fair evaluation has been reached. They might win or they might lose as the SP continues to run higher. Sometimes fundamentals mean absolutely nothing, take Trump Media as a prime example of that.
I often laugh at the analyst reports, although they are fun to read especially in terms of predictions of deliveries, revenue, EBITDA and FCF. Take CIBC as an example, raising their PT for frankly no reason other than the SP reaching close to their previous target. I have come to believe analysts are afraid of their own shadow, afraid to stick out their neck too far and targets with really no reason at all. Or perhaps some believe in UBS PT of $60 CDN per share. Again, they are all opinions just like yours isn't in the $250 camp.
I will likely evaluate my position as it nears $200 but believe the SP has a long way to run especially with 2025 FY just around the corner. I am watching the BJ market and don't see any signs of it slowing down anytime soon especially with BBD's 2+ year backlog, downpayments, progress payments and hefty cancellation penalties. I'll be holding for at least a year, but am already looking around for my next buy opportunities and they are all in the US.
