Dr Wazir KhanKhan is an exploration geologist with more than 30 years of experience across several metallogenic districts, notably gold-copper-molybdenum-silver porphyries, Abitibi greenstone epithermal gold deposits and the Cariboo gold belt.
During his career, he has worked with the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, Geological Survey of Pakistan, Iowa Geological Survey, US, Noront Resources, Premier Gold Mines, Red Lake Gold Mines, Barkerville Gold Mines, Rich Copper Exploration and Advanced Gold Exploration.
Holding a PhD in economic geology and igneous petrology from the University of Iowa in the US among other academic accomplishments, Dr Khan’s work has been featured in more than a dozen reports, maps and research papers.
