RE:The DipI certainly welcome it. Despite the recession noise for the past 2 years, I have been bullish on the financial sector, especially during the headfake regional crises last year. All forgotten now.
However, I am not sure how long you have been playing these splits which I like to keep a short leash on. While I have made quite a bit of money owning the splits they can also rake you over the coals too. As nice as the gains have been in the last year at a juicy discount to NAV too, it wouldn't take more than a 10% market pullback to seriously jeapardize the distribution on many of them. And it can happen fast.
