PLAN market price versus book value Hello fellow PLAN shareholders,
I added this table to my PLAN valuation analysis - it lists the Total Equity (Net Book Value) per PLAN share at each quarter end and the closing price of the PLAN shares on that day. It then calculates the difference between these values. A negative figure reveals the shares traded below their book value on that quarter end day, a positive difference shows shares trading in excess of book value:
Total Equity Closing

31-Jul-24 $0.119 $0.095 -$0.024
30-Apr-24 $0.116 $0.120 $0.004
31-Jan-24 $0.115 $0.095 -$0.020
31-Oct-23 $0.112 $0.115 $0.003
31-Jul-23 $0.114 $0.200 $0.086
30-Apr-23 $0.116 $0.225 $0.109
31-Jan-23 $0.120 $0.260 $0.140
31-Oct-22 $0.123 $0.280 $0.157
31-Jul-22 $0.116 $0.240 $0.124
30-Apr-22 $0.127 $0.330 $0.203
31-Jan-22 $0.046 $0.380 $0.334
31-Oct-21 $0.054 $0.485 $0.431
31-Jul-21 $0.053 $0.330 $0.277
30-Apr-21 $0.060 $0.390 $0.330
So 14 quarters of declining share price to Equity Book Value, eventually turning negative in 2024, allowing for the NCIB share buy back program to be launched on a sound financial footing. It will be interesting to add the October 31, 2024 comparative numbers, with the share price now trading in the $0.19 range.
