Still chiming in I see.  I've been away but this post caught my eye so I would like to reply to your escalation comment.
A week ago it was reported that North Korea was placing 'Boots on the ground' against Ukraine as one MAGA supported noted that would never happen under Trump's watch.  We'll apparently it did, even after Trump spoke to Putin, warning him not to escalate.
Whether or not you believe any of this bluster, the truth of the matter is that North Koreans are taking part.  Do you not recognize this as an escalation on Russia's part?
Should the Allies sit back and let this happen without a response?  
I hope not.
