RE:WHYIt doesn't have to be tax loss selling, the shares could be in a tax sheltered account, some could have an ACB below the current market price, some could be taking capital losses for 2025, some could have given up hope with not seeing the January effect, some could be selling to pay for holiday gifts or vacations, etc.
