RE:Terrifs

RE:Terrifs Trump is taking a lesson from China/Russia

Both of those nations have very high tariffs on anything coming into their nations, which they already produce and export.

It's taken them from a downtrodden semi Agrarian system, imposed under Mao, to their present highly industrialized and optimized system.

Ever since the US made China a "most valuable trading partner" to counter the efforts of the Soviet Union, the effect has been dramatic and startling at the same time.

It's been brutal at best, but it's been a boon for their citizens and economy.

Putin has tried something similar and in truth, when you consider Russia has less than 150 million people, they've also come a long way in the past 35 years. Such a small nation, but with incredible resources to draw on and advanced technology as well.

IMHO, the Democrats were very close to doing the same thing, but in a sneakier way.

At least Trump is telling the rest of the world, face to face what he's going to do, and how he's going to do it.

If the threat created by Totalitarian Systems isn't countered?????????

It's going to take a lot of money to counter that threat and there are only two places in the world this can happen. North America and Europe.

I have no idea how this will play out or if its been thought through properly. If it's handled by Bureaucrats we presently rely on I think it will just be SNAFU.

GLTA the good folks here.
