Someone seems to be preparing to throw Penner under the bus. He's not the problem though - I think the board and Ed made critical errors in judgement and direction along the way. But now they've set this guy up as their scapegoat. Pretty obvious with his promotion to President only a short while ago. Penner is actually a stand-up guy with a decent business sense and some raw leadership ability; and his optimism and enthusiasm for Arcan are needed now more than ever. He should be part of the solution, not thrown under the bus. Too bad that doesn't seem to be in the cards. The AGM is upon us and the board needs to save face.

You can look at it another way, Penner was thrown in as President based on his financial expertise to find a logical buyer, merger candidate, or just to figure out how to lower their debt.   In the end, I would pin this disaster to Ed and his Board.   They had a good thing going, they lucked out with their swan hills play, just to remind everyone, before new technology was
