AD.UN should be defensive
If the big fear is inflation, investors should like a company that receives bond-like payments. Their holdings would each have to have a pretty big hit to their business before they would stop paying Alaris. And Alaris itself only has 16 employees, so little overhead to worry about costs there. AND, most of the payments it receives are in US$, so revenues are getting a boost here on the weak C$.

If you are expecting a steep recession, you probably shouldn't buy any stock. Maybe a utility. Right now Canada and US unemployment is near record low, the airport in Toronto can't handle the volume of people who want to travel, corporate balance sheets are solid, personal savings is high...I just don't see a steep recession.
