Except it's not a takeover.  It's Mainstay getting rid of 6 non Jones Act compliant rustbuckets past their best before date (Canadian flagged fleet) to concentrate its shipping assets on ...more

I thought the recent (historically rapid) move in the share price was to set the stage for a secondary offering at a higher price.  ie new shares at a 10% discount to $24 as compared to a 10 ...more

The purchase was likely made to gain access to ship crews. Will likely gain a few spare parts and maybe some dock space. Release was pretty vague. But hard to question the returns of the jackman ...more
