New alltime high in silver

Gold prices are higher in midday U.S. trading. Silver is sharply up and set another record high, at $61.055, basis March Comex futures, as of this writing. Technical buying is featured in both metals ...more

MAX NAV in realtime @ $34.93

So at this moment trading just below its value by about 15 cents.  Was oversold yesterday.. and pecked away at some early on. Gold and silver both up, and another new alltime high for silver.

Precious metals getting thrashed on spot market

Last i looked , gold down over 200$ US and silver down $3.67 US... big drops over nite. AMAX getting thrashed..

I see that only 4 of the 15 holdings are up today.. so obvious some taking their short (or longer term) profits.. gold is up vs USD a little today.. at last look.

Appears no big pullback in the cards just yet..

I sold  just a bit lower,  of course , than where it trades today..

AMAX continues to run

Went up again this am, and  my ask got taken out. 10% gain since AUG 1 is where i had it set. Bound to pull back here soon.. if not.. never hurts to take quick profits.

AMAX in realtime , gain of 22 cents from AUG 5 update.

And taking into account the USD fall vs CAD. i suspect we are round $27.05 or so. I woud also believe there was a lot of covered call action or the NAV would be higher. SO my % also likely out on some ...more

I see they updated to AUG 5 now , @ $26.89  so looking a lot closer to what i had, and i would be surprised if there was NOT some covered calls taken out.

This morning i noted that Hamilton etfss did not change the NAV from AUg 1 , but did change the date to AUG 4. I know that is wrong, as huge jump in NAV on the 4th, but Canada stock markets were not ...more

Be interesting to see next NAV update.

My spreadsheet had the UNIT NAV around $27.70 today , ( a gain of $2.68  from AUG 1 NAV update) before adjustments for USD exchange. I do believe the etf NAV is calculated in CAD.

AMAX nav has jumped to over $27.25

DId up the spreadsheet today, as AMAX updated the NAv to AUg 1 to $25.02.. and also some changes in the weightings as they added Harmony Gold to holdings. My spreadsheet has the gains over $2.50 ...more
