RE:volume low

So what are you suggesting? Selling at a dip? Buying at a dip?

I sold before this tanked, luckily, then bought at the recent low or close to that bottom. When I made the equivalent of five months distributions, within a few weeks, I sold.

In hind sight, which we're all blessed with, I left a lot of money on the table but preservation of capital with a decent profit is just to alluring and fits my investment model.

If I had bought and held, even until today and with the distribution, I would be right about where I sold at.

I'm comfortable with this and have the time to watch the swings but I'm no magician and don't have a crystal ball.

If this drops back into the mid tens, I will likely step back in.

In the meantime, I bought into one of Subee's honorable mentions, after scrutinizing the chart and compiling the NAVs of the corporations in it. It should give me a fair capital gain as well as decent real dividends (not distributions, which contain a substantial amount of ROC)

I'm glad you like the suggestions. I hope it works out for you. I just wanted to mention that had i not made the switch I'd currently be down $24k. I'm keeping my eye on a few others funds I might consider in future. Right now is a bad time for financials, but moreso for split shares.
