Carry Trades

Something else to be considered, interest rates in the US/Can. are all interconnected.

There is usuall something happening to the availability of money going on somewhere when the VIX does a hockey stick spike.

Most of us here, including myself, weren't paying attention to one of our largest trading partners, Japan. They raised their interest rates last week, which if I would have been astute enough to pay attention to, had a Tsunami effect on the "CARRY TRADES"

Some people saw this coming, personally, in this case I have 20-20 hindsight
