Is Corus the next Shaw?

Corus has been considered a potential takeover opportunity for a while. In many cases, I think Corus was thought of as a likelier potential takeover target than Shaw.

Unlike telecoms which have specific regions they operate in, the vast majority of tv stations (that aren't French) are national. If Bell cannot buy a couple French tv stations, foreign companies cannot buyout, Quebecor not being national, Telus focusing on non-telecom operations, Rogers attempting to buy Shaw.  There is nobody who can buy Corus.  If it is incredibily challenging ...more
