A bit disappointed

Reading this morning financial report, it seems that there was very little improvment in the debt reduction. This looks like the only pale bright spot. Overall, i don't think that the SP will improve sharply today. IMHO we will need to be very, very, very patient before we see significant improvment.

Debt is being reduced far too slowly. That's why they've mentioned the need to further cut costs. This economy has been brutal for all broadcasters.

debt is without a doubt still high but last year the $30 m of Q 2 debt repayments was all out of cash on hand which itself was there due to bank draws. In simpler terms there was ZERO net debt repayments in Q2 2023. in 2024 they did $30m of debt repayments all out of cash flows - massively different - there is still a mountain of debt there though. the guidance of continued dropping revenues ...more

The above sentence sums up the delusion that is still persisting here.  Down 16-17% at the time of writing.  Folks, this stock is a dog and it's increasingly in Hail Mary territory.  It's time to sell off the assets piece by piece and return a couple of bucks to long-suffering shareholders.  ...more

If there was anyone in the Shaw family interested in really working hard, it would be prime to take private. Bet they coukd buy a fair value comments at close to any price they wanted
