ANOTHER stupid costly election

SO Trudeau gets in with a minority , bascially nothing has changed except TRUDEAU calling an early election cost the country 600 million $$, almost as much as the 700 million $ he invested in India, instead of our country.
Total popular vote, CONSERVATIVE 34%.... Liberal 32.2%....
And again Trudeau gets in despite more voters voting convervative, most of those from the west. Country is divided even further., What is sad is that BC had the chance to make a difference and kick him out, but split the vote 3 ways between, NDP, Conservative and Liberals.
HAd the pendulum swung more towards COnservative and less towards NDP especially, the results would have been very different.
BC is a split province as well, with the ciy folks in Vancouver metro, mostly voting Liberal, and the Interior of BC going nearly all Conservative. Coastal areas went  NDP

Justin Trudeau pledged to enact a 3 per cent surtax on banks and insurance companies on every dollar they earn over $1-billion, prompting complaints that the sector was being singled out and penalized for its strong performance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hmmm, so will that mean that the bank execs and employees  will get big pay raises to keep the profits below a billion $$..? Might ...more

Almost EVERY province is split. Evern Alberta elected a couple of Liberals. That how democracy works.  I'd hate to be living somewhere that the way people vote is somehow defined by the location in relation to arbirtary borders. Different people prioritize different things, so they vote differently.  That's not a glitch, it's a feature.   From my viewpoint, the ...more
