BNS took a 1.8 Billion dollar write down over South American assets it sold off just before Christmas and they declared it last week.  Chinese markets are not happy, and the list goes on all the way to political/bureaucratic turmoil in North America  Religious war in the Middle East This is just for starters.  It doesn't mean the financials aren't taking it in stride ...more

UNIT NAV did drop from earleir in the day, and the FOMC meeting upcioming, and seems to make financials sell off in advance of the FEd speak.
