I agree I bought in around 20 breakeven over several years after divys they use to pay when we get our money

We shareholders are supposed to rejoice about mgmt's offer to buy us out at $18.70, about 40% premium to recent trading range. Yes, well, $18.70 is also about a 40% discount to where HNZ traded ...more

Seems pretty odd, someone bought 137 000 on 27 Oct and then on Tuesday a buyout is announced.   Easy $800 000 profit, maybe construed as insider trading?

I really should be shorting HNZ.They have nothing left and the don't care.Wall,Mckay,Olsen,ETc. All these guys sucked hard at the trough.Insane renumeration for doing nothing. Give it a year or 2 ...more

a year later and your money is in the crypt.  Upper management needs to get their butts in gear and make something happen.  I think the Afghan contract gave them rose colored glasses.

I have held this for along time maybe I should have unloade it a couple of weeks back when it had it's run up . HNZ seems to be in pretty good with Shell hopefuly they find something on the east ...more

that's right they only had the one new contract... basically since I wrote those posts in feb I researched peer companies, chc helicopter and era group... both stocks were having a terrible time ...more
