New Kelt Drinking Game!

With all the endless repetition by certain posters on this board, wouldn't it be great to have a nice distraction to help pass the time?

So here it is... Take a shot every time you read the following:

Postage-stamp play
Prestine balance sheet
Opportunistic trade
Best opportunity in the Canadian marketplace
Evaporate cash off the balance sheet
(And my personal favorite)
A strong balance sheet is the best hedge!

Have fun, kids!

Wow, I'm hammered already. LOL Or at least I must be because I never see him post this here:  My belief is that potentially energy stocks will have to compete with dividends, so people get paid properly while holding the stock.  I just bought into CVE as it is highly leveraged to oil and has many catalysts for shareholders at this level.  MHP IMHO So he recently bought ...more

Excellent points, Quint. As always, the selective memory and hypocrisy reign supreme. But I guess that's what happens when someone possesses a leakey, postage-stamp sized brain.

Well Myself and a few others said here before, Shareholders Do get diluted while debt climbs as Insiders/MHP continue to promote their plays, double down on homeruns while pricing/economics/infrastructure begin another wait and see phase for the average investor.. $12 buck a share optimism is a 2026,if ever event imho

Trapped..my fav is "best Management Team in Oil and Gas" then "Billionaire Wilson", Perhaps the latter may be correct , but at what cost to average shareholders?

I think it was KEL who said in one annual meeting (cause they have never done quarterly calls, have they?) that owning infrastructure diluted shareholders exposure to purely oil & NG prices (doubly so when you're unhedged). This bit from LGN's recent PR stung a bit: "Full field development at Pouce Coupe, including the construction of a 40 mmcf/d gas plant and associated ...more

Teashade- agree I've been buying Logan this past year given Mgmnt/stewardship of capex, similar Kelt plays with previous key kelt magmnt, minimal if any insider sales. Perhaps a longer wait than Kelt but i feel more confident in their overall strategy incl as you state infrastructure vs homerun dilineation, here's  hoping Kelt doesn't get squeezed again by those whom invested ...more

Sorry, my memory addled by watching the market too long, listening to too many calls (not to mention the drugs and alcohol) was wrong. I'm pretty sure it was PIPE who said that about owning processing diluted shareholders from holding pure O&G shares. In a way I understand that argument: contracted infrastructure has a higher value that isn't recognized if the equity trades at th enew ...more

PIPE also ran into problems and got stolen. I'm interested in the transaction because I think it's likely that Strathcona has to do one or two more transactions like that to allow Waterous to get enough liquidity to lighten their holdings (they have 90% of SCR right now). Think KEL would be an interesting target for them giving their PIPE acquisition. *** - NO WAY Jose ! - GFR is the ...more

I agree, KEL is a highly unlikely deal with Waterous who has a record of buying cheap. I own SCR and used to own PIPE and GFR. In one of its quarterly reports in 2023 PIPE management honestly revealed issues with H2S and the extra cost of dealing with it. Shares plunged and never recovered, not even when it was swallowed by Waterous and SCR went public. Now everyone in the area, KEL included, is ...more
