Haha, those 20k blocks were me. Small world, huh? Still hold a ton of shares, my second biggest holding after TOU but I need to take some profits, clear my margin balance and get my head right. It's been a wild ride to get here and I fully blieve the best is yet to come but after watching my account crumble from November 2023 to now (I'm up 35% for the year but 20% below that peak in ...more

That is a haha moment indeed....with the stock running up hard the last two days you sold ~$780,000 worrh of shares.....Okay if you say so....LOLOLOL  "Haha, those 20k blocks were me."

A total of 100k shares for ~$656k today. I'm not bragging, it's all on margin. Booking about 10% profit on those shares picked up under $6 in August and September. Still holding onto the majority of them. Just needed to create some breathing room for if it drops. Probably leaving some money on the table but it's been a bumping ride since we hit 8 last year. This is a terrifying game ...more

Indeed Tea, bumpy to say the least. Brave man on margin, good for your victiries today. It is showing unusual strenght the last couple of days. I day trade a protion occaisionaly, but not every day. I get it wrong some times too, buying back higher...it happens. I sure hope they sell within the next year though.....Oh ya, I would have replied sooner but was chatting to a buddy of mine from Saskie, ...more

No he's not he's holding and praying for dear life. Where he put his money was ARX, CVE and VET.   At least that's what he has said on those boards and we all know the poo pot don't lie.  ;-)

POU i have owned for 10 plus years, Arc is essentially a day trade for me, and VET is a small position. Full disclosure i manage many accounts on behalf of faimly and friends. CVE i bought and when it zoomed up i wrote cover calls over all the shares and anticipate getting taken out over the next few months. I am big into option trading, which makes Kelt a little difficult for me.  The only ...more

Yes it's very unfortunate that VET didn't inform shareholders and the market at large of their intention to buyback shares so that you could have sidestepped that landmine with your obviously extensive due diligence.   I wonder if you missed anything like that here?

If you really are managing the accounts of a number of family and friends, then the last thing you should be doing is day trading energy stocks. You, and they, will come to regret the decision to entrust precious funds to an glorified gambler. Tread lightly.

I am just going to focus on Kelt as i am on the Kelt board, and not my personnel activities. I have done well for myself.  I have long term investments and day trade a lot of oil and gas. I am totally opposed to share buybacks as they only evaporate capital off the balance sheet, and when commodity prices get soft the companies can no longer buy back shares and their stocks fall just like ...more

TOU is one of the best managed companies amongst Cdn E&Ps and they're in the business with the longest runway. This CNG business is taking off in China (govt incentives for environment + cheaper fuel) - I've seen first hand the positive effect burning CNG instead of diesel has on the environment.

Yeah, you almost did it too? Not!  LOL Honestly poo pot you can't even stick to your own rules.  "I am just going to focus on Kelt as i am on the Kelt board, and not my personnel activities.
