Where's the dip, darn it,,,

maybe there is more demand for this canadian bank etf than meets the eye...rising financials in Trump country may spill over a little bit to Canadian financials as well. Trump is energy bullish and that may help Canada as well. We will see.

Of all the Splits out there, DFN,LBS, BK, FTN etc., this one is likely the least volatile, has no NAV trigger, and  a 15% yield. Lots to attract people, Canadians Banks a pretty safe place to hang out!

hey, if you liked it at 20% yield, why wouldn't you love it at 14%?  kind of puzzling, some dumped right before election (bad timing in hindsight), and since the underlying has been rising a lot it skews things  I don't agree on the volatility. look at mid july -mid september 24 and october vs others, pic.a was a train wreck, hard to explain the underperformance and ...more

Most of this reflects the stupid premium PIC.a was trading at on your start date (over $3/50%). If you buy then you deserve this result!

Why don't I like it after a 30% cut in divvy? Because it means that the issuer no longer respects the investor, and the capital losses over the last few years are not likely to ever be recovered. And if they do it once, whats to stop them from doing it again?
