I guess a reload at 4.75 was a good buy,,

For now anyway. We may see another chance to reload in the summer months as well... Lower acb and higher distributions are always a good thing. Jmho

Probably a good place to park extra cash for a year....monthly 8 cent divi.....under 5 bucks... almost 20% return. Seems to have lost a lot of interestd investors long term. Agreed....Canadian banks ...more

Next redemption date there is 133% return on investment (80x.08=$6.40 in distributions) not including any future unit trading opportunities during that time. Unless the Canadian banks go broke, this ...more

If you look at this with the almost 7 year,,

Time horizon b4 the next special redemption date and the 26 year track record behind it, it still makes for a compelling ROI situation. Unless the world ends with a bang, and then it won't matter ...more

Dividends almost 19 %

The big dividends have been eating into the share price for a few months now. But should worst come to worst and the divy was cut 50% we would still be getting 9% which would still be not to bad. As ...more

Price at 5.10, Nav at 5.03,,,

Yield is almost 19%. Soon time to let the divies go to work and buy a few more. The risk/reward level is favorable for the longer term holders. Not much else safer to buy with this kind of return ...more

to buy more shares with the distributions when the price is down and keep the distributions when the price is high, as well as sell a few when it looks over bought and buy yourself something nice like ...more

Yeah, I've been buying it all the way down, hoping it'd hit bottom and rebound. No such luck yet. But I'm hanging on and buying more when I have the cash.
