Looking at his previous roles, he was not an allstar for sure.  Strategic oil and Gas is in receiveship, Gran Terra is trading at .87, but fell from over 4.00 in 2018.  Obsidian is doing well trading at around 3.85, but fell from highs of over 10.00 in 2018.  While I realize many oils did poorly over the past 3 years, it does not give me good vibes when we pick up a CEO from some ...more

True. But the market was dead. Now it's back in full swing And this man may be well connected enough to make some wicked deals and kick butt. Time will tell. Gl yall

The guy needs to come in on day 1 swinging the bat for the fences. Its do or die. No more waiting around for a Nafta decision.  Shareholder meeting in two weeks and we'll see how the Directors fare without the support of Goldman.

The New CEO is just more of that same that PPR already has in managment, people who have had little to no success in the O&G business, just take a look at the profiles of the ones in the office they have all come from failed companies and continue with the same focus as they did previous. PPR has some potential with their assets but have way too much liability and poor managment to ever reach ...more
