Will PCEP step up?

Will Prudential Capital owner of 75% of PPR, re-finance the Company? With a 7/1/24 facility redetermination date looning, time is running out there is no indication of a merger deal in the works.

In my humble opionion:  they will either re-finance the company, or they will offer remaining shareholders a buy-out offer, likely less than .10/share, and then take the company private until they can turn it around.  We will likely find out before the end of June.

SilverSam, PCEP making an offer to acquire the remaining 25% does make sense. They could do it for less than $20 mil. The lack of trading volume and insider activity also seems to signal such an event. Why maintain PPR as a public company if they constantly loose money and there is no outside investor interest.

Someone could still surprise with an offer for the company, but because of the size of the majority stake held by PCEP, that seems an unlikely event, as it would lock in huge loses for all shareholders.  The company just needs more time to execute, so we'll soon see how it all plays out.  Cetainly, after a lull in trading, the selling volume has picked up again since their latest ...more
