REI been horrible 5yr investment choice

Wow, smells like garbage in here.............................

Plenty of experts suggesting piling in REI at $15 during Pandemic.

Hasn't appreciated 20% in 5yrs.

Meanwhile at BEI.un, some who bought 5yrs ago while the experts hated it, the total returns have been exceptional.

One more thing, residential rents have increased by 30 to 40%. Whereas retail rents have increased only 10 to 15% Also industrial rents have increased by 30 to 50% but they are still underperforming.
