How can't they put out earnings between 4 and 5pm. Incompetence

it is getting ridiculous, but the company trading on the market has little to do with the actual timing of the release of news. Blame the SROs like the CSA and TSX.

You do realize the market is still trading in Alberta and B.C.. right? So they should release the filing and let those Provence’s trade TNT while the rest of the country only gets to sit and watch? Genius idea.. DUH.

apparently, the Albertans and British-Columbians get to trade for a couple hours longer than the East Coast and have a significant advantage over the rest of Canada in terms of market hours. I`ve been lied to my whole adult life. Who do I sue ?

nope 6;30 till one 5.5 hours   back east 3;30 till   10;00   5.5 hours

No, as someone who has worked years on the trading floor and has a degree in finance from a canadian university, I did not know that the stock markets in Alberta & BC were still open after 4 pm eastern. I guess I missed that fact in all of my studies and textbooks. Go figure.    Someone needs to tell the TSX and SEDAR to retract all of those reports they released past 4pm eastern ...more
