Funny up almost 9%
I do find it funny that on this post...... no one posts much on good news days!! Up 9% and silent.
I hink people love to feed into the negitive. It can stay negative for a very long time but it always shifts eventually.
( Human nature is funny )

I think a lot unit holders are trying to avoid false hope so nobody bring up the possitive new. As of noon today, it is up 11%.

Fair comment! It's also funny that the press release was really a bit of a nothingburger, but simply drawing attention again to the strategy - seems to have worked against the backdrop of sentiment shifting to interest rate cuts. However, that is perhaps counter-productive as it means management are now paying more for their own shares.

Well said Panic, we should celebrate good days like this. Funny how Garyrein & thenewsnake (which is the same person) is not commenting today, only way the stock was down 10% he would not miss a chance to say' "OMG this is too much! " Who know maybe he's busy covering his short position today. GLTA

I also think a lot of it is the funds that were selling to get out of their position for the end of November not to mention individual investors. ( End of month repositioning ) Either way I will take it. It will be volatile good to add when it has a few down days in a row.

End of month repositioning is to do window dressing. In your annual report, you don't want the client to see the fund holing something dropped 75%. The sell off may be, just may be, coming back next January from shorties.

Human nature said this was going to zero as the shorts took over and drilled this into the ground. Longs sold and now that's it up, few are left to celebrate... certainly not the shorts.

I think shorts could be in a very bad spot right now. We could very well see a short squeeze on this one eventually as the NCIB is in full swing and they might run out of sellers as outlook for office REITS finally begins too look better and brighter.
