Help...

I am truly challenged. Tourmaline produces about 2.5bcfd. I understand that to mean 2.5 billion cu ft. It will initially ship 140mmcfd to foreign makets in 2023, rising to 926mmcfd at the end of the year. How much of the 2.5 bcfd is that?   I guess I'm kind of dumb, but there it is. By the end of the year (926) is that almost a billion? Like 40% of their production?

you are comparing production/d to the total amount being shipped for the year.
Comment by idleweiss on Sep 12, 2022 10:46am
the company will be exiting the year with that amount so I don't think you can say that they are shipping that every day.

No, of course not. If they start at 140 and end at 926 the average will be somewhere in between. But am I right that the 926 will be a little short of the 40% of that 2.5bcfd production? If their average next year would be 500/d that seems to me is 1/5th of their 2.5 production. Can that be right?

Don't think so idel.  Both are per day, per NR • 2023 average production guidance remains at 545,000 boepd (2.5 bcf/day of natural gas and 126,000 bpd of oil, condensate, and NGLs). • Tourmaline expects to export approximately 926 mmcfpd of natural gas at exit 2023 including an initial 140 mmcfpd on the Gulf Coast fully exposed to JKM pricing, commencing January 1, 2023.
