Special dividend

Happy New Year everyone!  If things proceed as in the past, Tourmaline might declare a special dividend on Jan. 16 - 2 weeks from today. Any guesses how big/small this might be? I don't expect anywhere near the 2.25 we had in November. Maybe half that? $1.25-1.50?

And what does the future hold? We're nnot getting any winter to speak of, although February could be brutal. Should we be more in oil than gas? Any other great thoughts?

You may be surprised to see dividend is not much lower, if at all.  The NYMEX price is lower but AECO is higher- AECO was brutal in Q3 due to maintenance.  TOU has several market and NY is ...more

og1959 good point, indeed last two Specials were announced concurrent with quarterly results. I'm in same camp of CAD2.25 for Q4's Special Div, same as Q3's. I was a bit surprised they raised it last quarter with lower (bit still good) commodity prices.
