Dreams are good if your sleeping.

Dead money for at least 2 years.

You're sleeping, not your sleeping.  All depends what type of recession we get.  The world needs to build and is short copper.  This is most likely a takeover play by Rio if the drill results are there.

Feel bad for you DB, your optimism/pessimism swings with the stock price.

Think of all the money WRN is wasting on paper having all of these CA's printed if the intention is to sleep for 2 years.

Talk is cheap buddy... Plus they would have 90% plus answers to hand already based on Rio and MMC due diligence exercises.
Comment by Pinegrove1 on Mar 31, 2023 8:51am
True. Each review by interested parties becomes easier and faster. RIO'S and Mitsubishi's due diligence is answering the same questions that other interested parties would have. All points to faster more efficient reviews. MOMENTUM folks...

And it doesn't hurt having gold > $2000 and copper > $4.00. Stars!!

I suppose when you are in market for a home and you find one you like for $500k...that owner has an inspection done already...you'd plop down the $500k without doing your own inspection....
Comment by Marine2 on Mar 31, 2023 3:52pm
Sooner  I like your Analogy, ""..that owner has an inspection done already...you'd plop down the $500k without doing your own inspection...."" This goes with, Just rumour for now,,,  one of the top 10 companies that Paul said just signed a CA was BHP Group Ltd. ! Just a good rumour ? The world's biggest miner is ready to plant more flags in ...more

Marine - it's safe to say...we could sign up BHP, Newmont tomorrow and we would still have complaints.  why do we need addl work? why is no insider buying? why more dilution?  im optimistic out of the 12 CA last year and 2 this year...we are in great position over the next 6 months for something exciting...
Comment by Oakie1 on Mar 31, 2023 8:43pm
Sooner and Marine, While listening to one of Trevor's interviews with Paul about a year ago, the subject came up about BHP, and could they ever be interested. This was during the time when it had already been stated by BHP that they would not be interested in a project like ours that had a high capex and low to medium grade ore. I'll never forget Paul's answer (I'll paraphrase ...more

Thats not what was said... To use your analogy, if you are selling your house in the UK - you get a questionnaire to cocomplete on location ofof metres/pipes, roof, subsidence, damp etc etc. You return these questions via your solicitor to them, then we they do their inspection they can validate the information provided and have th opportunity to ask further questions. Simply put, if enough ...more

You said that anyone else interested in Casino would have "90% of the answers they need by looking at the work done by Rio". How in the world do you know that and how do you know what others want when purchasing a mine the size of Casino????  maybe you as a home buyer have other things you want to review than me and some things that are more important. Agree- some things like ...more

Again, that's not what was said, If you are gonna quote someone atleast actually quote the "they would have 90% plus answers to hand already based on Rio and MMC due diligence exercises" that's what I said. And if you had actually been listening to PWS - he stated that Rio's DD was very comprehensive and MMC really did a thorough DD (watch the Video links again). See they ...more

Where did that computer thingy store the 90% answers in hand... My point....is where did you make up that 90%+ I assume you pulled that figure out if your rump...and you have no real way to back that up. Why not just say 42.34%? It's your made up assumption (yep...about as worthless as all of our speculation on buyout prices, etc).  The computer thingy also has an interview with ...more

Jeez, it is a complete waste of time engaging with -> it's beyond your comprehension.
Comment by Sooner on Apr 01, 2023 11:27am
I understand your simpleton point...there should be some synergies with work already done...and at that is the only point i agree with you on relative to this subject. I didn't realize you have such great experience as a CEO and/or director of strategy at a mining major and understand how they go about DD. Yes - for sure i don't understand and comprehend all the details behind everything ...more
