Canada’s main stock index inched up on Friday. The only drag on the TSX was a drop in the energy sector while mining led gains.

...volume remains 'brisk' with ~540K on all Cdn exchanges so far today. Next reporting fiscal Q3 still 5-6 weeks away, seems like an eternity to me
