Takeover

Just replying to recent comments on the board that we will get bought out before we see highs of .70

How often has anyone seen a company get bought out just for land holdings alone . Wouldn't you think that Bowood will have to prove themselves first and get some production online before a company would come in?

I could see how a takeover  could happen just on the other companies results , from the area . But how would that work with the farmin that LEgacy has . I would suspect that with there partnership Legacy would be the viable take over candidate .  If the area proves to be the next big play , that its shaping up to be .

I would have to say with 2 weeks of steady flow of news from the area. That this play is no longer speculative . Its just a matter of how good it is 8)

good news in here is imminent soon. with the markets also in btter condition we should be seeing even more healthy gains....BWD has got good land and the Kipp Spring Coulee will prove its worth to shareholders tomorrow BWD will begin the week very strong. jd

We are limited by imagination alone as to what could happen. I think a lot happens behind the scenes with the operators and landholders in the play so who knows, someone may jump in and take out both BWD and LEG in one transaction if they like the facts of the well tests as they truly exist. There have been some good posts re: land values and well production posibilities and anything is possible ...more

The catalyst that would really encourage me is having some new wells licensed. Very encouraged by the surrounding results and waiting with baited breath for the Kipp results. Hoping for 350+ bopd.
