This should instill some confidence in the stock again. However, somewhat expected based on previous messaging. Still waiting for some material contract announcements.

Okay to my knowledge, GateKeeper has never released preliminary Quarterly results, so what gives? What would be Dougs reasoning to prerelease roughly 3 month's early?

Pure speculation of course; Get the share price up so that any potential hostile bid for the company comes in at a higher price. Given the low valuation, it could be a target and having it languish in the low 50's makes it vulnerable for the majority of shareholders to vote yes. Get the share price up for a financing so that institutions can get a chunk of the company at a reasonable price

One more thought.  What if an "investor" wanted to have some confidence in Q4 numbers and Doug needed to disclose it, but could not as it would have been selective disclosure, thus he had to issue a news release.

Hey Tropicalsun, as for a potential takeover, Atrium Research has 6 criteria that makes a company attractive, GSI meets the requirements except one, "private equity friendly". GSI has been on the list for the past 3 reports.

Him disclosing the Q4 topline ahead of annual financials is his way of saying thank you to shareholders for hanging in there in spite of the NR dearth designed to not give competitors even an inkling of what GSI is up to. Kidl2, unfortunately we should realize that Mr. Market can be inefficent in the small / micro cap space. So a NR giving pre-liminary results which were somewhat in tune to what some of us here believed would be the case, woke up Mr. Market.

I agree with Ciao. DD must have had a very good reason to release Q4 data with such haste something he has never done before in all the years I've been here. IMO something is up we just don't know what it is. I doubt it was done to stablize the SP. Maybe some insight today with Cameron's podcast but I doubt DD will be able to say much. I think we find out in the next few weeks.

To provide preliminary results within 6 business days (inventory count audits, financial snapshot)just 6 business days after year end tells you there was a sense of urgency to get this info out.  If Doug just wanted to shore up the share price I'm sure he could have put something together about some contract wins. Just speculation of course but something big must be cooking.

IMHO, as Doug is said to speak with institutional investors, I'm sure he anticipated the potential question as to how Q4 looked. To avoid selective disclosure, he had to put out a public news release.

wow Q4 ended 31Aug and a preliminary earnings release 10Sep. DD just bit$h slapped any shorts or penny flippers. IMO. Nice numbers with little or no contract PR's to speak of. DD has some kind of moxie. Nice. Close to $40m for the year. I like it.

         One mght think Ol' GRIZ had it right without a foundation the SPcould not move.The foundation has now been set solid numbers for the Q and year, and there should be annoucements coming in the near future behind this,maybe about the news center or Septa deals that substantiate a major move up!       The carrot we know nothing about is " How much of that revenue is recurring rev?" It might be substantial.For all we knlw might be 200000 a month by now and that would be special.
