It's a pure joke........

Can't say i didnt warn folks & the company what would happen if Deep South mgmt took the path of least resistance and attempted to fight their court case in the Namibian justice system. This turned out EXACTLY as i expected, futility at it's finest. This should have went straight to the international settlement courts, it would have at the very least given DSM a fighting chance & the procoess would have been conducted in due time and in a professional manner. Compared to what's occurring here in the corrupt Namibian courts with all the extentions & delays.

For those still wondering what the hell is happenning with all the extentions given to the Ministry of Mines & Energy, don't wonder anymore, i'll tell you. The main Gov't and all the off shoots like the Ministry of M&E, including the High Court of Namibia are all controlled by the same crooks & corrupt officials. What's happening here was already planned out even before DSM made the challenge. The delays & extentions are being done on PURPOSE so the Namibian Gov't can drag this out as much as possible without being to blantant or obvious. Any intelligent person with an average education & some experience in these markets can see what's happening here.

I don't know who the H the Namibians are trying to fool? Naive Dsm mgmt maybe? Stupid Investors? Could be, but i expected better from Mr. Leveille, for him to see right though this obvious slide of hand scheme. Anyway folks, it is what it is. DSM mgmt should have been smarter than this and seen this from miles away.

I've sold my remaining shares a few days ago because didnt like the way this wea heading, so on the sidelines for now to see how this plays out. Judging by how the Namibians are trying to play, if they didn't load up on off shore accounts with DSM shares & are ready to drop their beef with DSM, they're going to drag this out as long as they possibly can until DSM mgmt give up and let the asset go. Gl folks.

Good luck & God speed

Dear mrmomo, I agree with most of your comments but I think Pierre Lveill and is Namibian BoD elected the strategy to go to the High Court. It is obvious that the Ministry of M&E don't have much to file otherwise it would be done. The court has ordered the Ministry not to grant the EPL to any other party. Ministry got F*#K ; good for them. DSM filed so far 1500 pages of documents, the ...more

« The situation is not like you described it. Before being accepted on an international arbitration, a company needs to exhaust the local court possibilities. The situation is not like you described it. Read my previousl posts. The situation is has played out exactly as i've described in my comments so far. I said, if this went to the Namibian courts, games woukd be played & it would get dragged out. And presto!.......guess what happened? Before being accepted on an international arbitration, a company needs to exhaust the local court ...more

The DSM situation is less complex than explained by several investors. attempting to recover Haib, the High court is the normal course of business. it is easy to understand that the Ministry of M&E have been purposely delaying the court process by not filing documents to validate the decision they took.  Why, becasue these documents don't exist. Furthermore the Ministry have a court ...more
