This is low shares out stock , we can not have 29 million traded like in other stock with 300 million plus shares out  this is a low float and controlled float , the best you can have

omg! The number of shares purchased is the volume. The more buyers and sellers you have the more volume you have. Those "other" stocks have more volum because there's simply more buyers and sellers interested in it. If there are more buyers than sellers then the price will go up.
