Silvercorp Metals Inc. (
TSX: T.SVM,
Stock Forum) said Friday it is making changes to its senior management and board of directors.
To focus on his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors, providing the company with leadership and strategic guidance, Dr. Rui Feng is relinquishing the chief executive role,
the company said in a press release.
As a result, Silvercorp President Myles Ago steps up to become CEO, the company said.
Silvercorp shares were unchanged at $3.30, leaving a market cap of $563.6 million, based on 170.8 million shares outstanding. The 52-week range is $6.26 and $2.48.
