Parkland Fuel Corporation Postpones Investor Event Due to Conflict with March Break Holidays

RED DEER, AB, March 12, 2013 /CNW/ - Parkland Fuel Corporation ("Parkland" or the "Corporation") (TSX: PKI), Canada's largest independent fuel distributor and marketer, today announced that it will postpone the investor event that was to be held on March 18, 2013 due to low registration numbers.  As of the Friday cut off, only 14 individuals had registered for the event.  Feedback from investors indicates that the low registration numbers relates to a conflict with March break holidays.

"Holding an investor event for 14 people clearly doesn't align with the Parkland Penny Plan, and would do a disservice to the members of the investment community who are unable to attend," said Bob Espey, President and Chief Executive Officer of Parkland.  "To accommodate our investors, we will move the event to a later date so that more people are available to attend."

The event will therefore be rescheduled for April 15, 2013 at 7:00 a.m. MST (9:00 a.m. EST).
