Renforth Announces Appointment of Denis Simard to Board of Directors and Provides Update on Exploration Properties

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 28, 2013) - Renforth Resources Inc. ("Renforth" or the "Company") (CNSX:RFR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Denis Simard of Trois-Rivieres, Québec to the Board of Directors. Mr. Simard is Vice President Operations Eastern Division and General Manager of Placements B. Allard Inc., the second largest helicopter company in Canada. As an independent director, Mr. Simard brings a wealth of management expertise and experience in the Province of Québec. He has supported exploration projects in numerous mining camps in Québec and across Canada, in doing so Mr. Simard has achieved an exemplary safety record, including personally logging over 4400 hours accident free during his 32 year flying career.

Renforth also announces the resignation of Mr. David Danziger as Chairman of the Company. On behalf of the Company, Nicole Brewster, President and CEO, would like to thank Mr. Danzigner for his contribution as a Director and Officer of the Company and wishes David every success as he focuses on his professional practice and obligations to other public companies.

Exploration Update

Renforth is pleased to offer the following update on the Company's New Alger and Mink Lake gold exploration properties.

New Alger

New Alger is a past producing gold mine, and records from the intermittent period of operation and limited exploration have been located and a compilation of all the historic data has been completed. A digital model has been developed containing the underground workings, including the 1000 ft shaft and development on 8 levels, underground drill holes and channel samples, including the rib and back samples, and the mined out stope areas. In addition to the underground information, the assay results and geological data from 27 surface drill holes drilled between 2007 and 2010, 4 holes drilled in 1963, and 28 holes drilled in the 1930's, have been incorporated into the model.

The compilation of all of this information has allowed an interpretation and program planning phase to commence. To date the interpretation has demonstrated the continuity of the known vein systems westward across the property, into the area of more recent drilling. The interpretation has highlighted the need to resample the drill core recovered during the 2007-2010 exploration programs which focused only on the gold bearing quartz veins. The sampling is expected to confirm the existence of a mineralizing envelope identified during the deposit modeling. In addition, several target areas have been identified for shallow drilling within the model, adjacent to known mineralization.

Red Lake

Renforth has completed a high definition mag and vlf survey over the Mink Lake Property, as previously announced. Management considers this survey to be very successful. After a preliminary review, the Company's technical interpretation of the structural setting of the Mink Lake Project in a Springpole-Mink Fault Zone has been confirmed, and the structural evidence of cross-cutting faults within this Zone have also been identified and will provide a solid foundation for future exploration programs. The results of this survey have been filed for assessment purposes.

In addition, Renforth has completed the government mandated GPS recording of the bulk of the Company's claims. This work will also be filed for assessment credit.

"We are pleased with progress made on both projects this year. The Mink Lake survey could not have turned out better, and the New Alger Project has become very exciting with, surprisingly, several shallow, relatively low cost, quick drill targets having become apparent when all of the data is looked at together. A very interesting summer exploration season on both projects is currently being planned," stated Nicole Brewster, President and CEO of Renforth.
