TORONTO, July 2, 2013 /CNW/ - CI Financial Corp. ("CI") today reported
assets under management of $81.6 billion and total assets of $106.0
billion as of June 30, 2013.
CI's assets under management have grown by $10.0 billion or 14.0% since
June 30, 2012, and declined 1.7% in the month of June. In comparison,
the S&P/TSX Composite Total Return Index was up 7.9% over the 12-month
period and down 3.8% in June.
CI's average assets under management for the quarter ended June 30, 2013
were $81.6 billion, representing an increase of $2.8 billion or 3.6%
over the average for the first quarter of 2013 and an increase of $9.0
billion or 12.4% over the average for fiscal year 2012.
CI also reported assets under administration at Assante Wealth
Management (Canada) Ltd. of $24.4 billion at June 30, 2013, an increase
of 11.2% year over year.
CI expects to release its financial results for the second quarter on
August 8, 2013.
