Harris Corporation Research Report

On July 3, 2013, Harris Corporation (Harris) announced that it has successfully completed government tests of its proposed solution for the US Army Mid-Tier Networking Vehicle Radio (MNVR) program. Using the Wideband Networking Waveform (WNW) developed by the US Department of Defense, Harris said that it delivered data messages through the MNVR radio systems. The Company informed that it has successfully communicated at a required rates of 2 megabits per second (Mbps) between separate Harris MNVR systems and with other radios such as the Ground Mobile Radio (AN-VCR-107). President of the Department of Defense business of Harris RF Communications, George Helm said, "Harris is expanding its lead in deploying NSA Type-1 certified radios using open-standard government wideband waveforms.
