CareView Communications, Inc. ("CareView" or the "Company") (OTCQB:
CRVW), a patient and clinically focused information technology provider
to the healthcare industry, announced today several new contract
signings and expansions.
The following hospital chains have recently executed new contracts or
expanded existing ones to provide CareView’s suite of patient safety,
entertainment and connectivity products to patients and hospital staff:
-
IASIS Healthcare: Following the signing of its initial agreement with
IASIS in December 2012, CareView and IASIS have expanded their
relationship. CareView’s technology has now been deployed in
approximately 1,875 beds across 17 of IASIS’s hospitals.
-
Orlando Health: CareView and Orlando Health, a Central Florida
hospital chain with 1,100 beds in 7 facilities, have entered into an
agreement under which CareView’s technology has been deployed in
approximately 140 beds. CareView expects to grow this bed count over
time.
-
Kaiser Permanente: CareView and Kaiser have executed a contract
whereby CareView’s technology is being deployed in a number of
Kaiser’s hospitals on a pilot basis.
-
An existing large hospital chain customer expanded its relationship
with the Company by introducing several new CareView products and
services on a pilot basis under the terms of an existing contract.
This customer requested not to be identified for reasons unrelated to
the Company.
"These contract signings and expansions are a testament to the high
quality, competitive price and breadth of our expanded product
offering," CareView President and Chief Executive Officer Steven Johnson
said. "Each of our customers is enjoying an immediate return on
investment, and their patients are now safer and nursing staffs more
efficient. If our recent successful pilot projects are any indication,
we expect that CareView will secure several new hospital facilities or
groups in the very near future." Mr. Johnson continued, "Now that the
implementation of ObamaCare has begun and new reimbursement rates to
hospitals are becoming known, hospitals are in a better position to move
forward to execute their business strategies that had previously been on
hold. We are confident that the current condition of the healthcare
industry will help to advance our products and services as the new
"standard of care" for hospital facilities nationwide."
