Aimia Inc. announces closing of C$150 million offering of Cumulative Rate Reset Preferred Shares

MONTREAL, Jan. 15, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Aimia Inc. ("Aimia") announced today the closing of its previously announced offering of 6,000,000 Cumulative Rate Reset Preferred Shares, Series 3 (the "Series 3 Preferred Shares"), including 1,000,000 Series 3 Preferred Shares that were issued upon the exercise in full of the underwriters' option to purchase additional shares, at a price of C$25.00 per Series 3 Preferred Share for gross proceeds of C$150 million. The Series 3 Preferred Shares were purchased by a syndicate of underwriters led by CIBC, TD Securities Inc., RBC Capital Markets and BMO Capital Markets.

The net proceeds of the issue will be used by Aimia to supplement its financial resources and for general corporate purposes.
