Tyler’s Incode
2014 Excellence Award winners are the city of Ridgeland, Mississippi,
and the city of Dunwoody Municipal Court in Georgia. Ridgeland, with a
population of approximately 24,000, received the award for using Incode
and Tyler Content Manager to replace paper-based processes, creating
approximately $50,000 in personnel-related savings and freeing up
storage space by digitizing three years of paper records. Dunwoody
Municipal Court was awarded for its use of automating processes with
Incode and increasing work output by 27 percent without adding
additional resources. Dunwoody is a northern suburb of DeKalb County and
has a population of more than 46,000.
Tyler’s Eagle 2014 Excellence Award winner is Washoe County, Nevada, for
its out-of-the-box workflow software solution for Eagle Recorder that
resulted in reduced labor costs for the county and improved customer
service. Washoe County has a population of approximately 421,000 and its
county seat is Reno.
Award submissions were evaluated by a panel of Tyler leadership. Entries
were judged on business value, maturity, innovation and relevance to
other public sector organizations. Additional criteria met by award
winners include:
-
Creating a unique process that utilizes a Tyler application
-
Realizing significant savings after implementing a Tyler product
-
Increasing staff productivity by implementing a Tyler product
-
Empowering employees, citizens or vendors
Tyler Excellence Award winners were honored on Monday, April 14, at
Tyler’s Connect 2014 user conference, where they were presented with the
awards. Winners were also offered an expense-paid trip to the conference.
“Tyler’s Public Sector Excellence Awards program is our chance to
publicly recognize clients, like Ridgeland, Dunwoody Municipal Court and
Washoe County, who improve service and create value for taxpayers by
using our software,” said Brett Cate, president of Tyler’s Local
Government Division. “We welcome the opportunity for our clients to
share real-world successes with their peers at our yearly user
