Brentwood, Tennessee, Signs Agreement with Tyler Technologies for Integrated Court and Public Safety Solutions

TYL

Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed an agreement with the city of Brentwood, Tennessee, for its Tyler Public Safety and Incode® court case management software suites to streamline the city’s day-to-day operations.

By utilizing Tyler software for both its court and public safety solutions, Brentwood will experience a seamless flow of information, increased productivity and a reduction of duplicated data.

“We are excited to work with Tyler as our sole vendor for both our police and court software as this will streamline many inefficient functions that resulted from having to manage systems from two different vendors,” said Brentwood Police Chief Jeff Hughes. “Tyler’s software features will increase efficiencies throughout the department, while also decreasing the amount of paper we consume, moving us toward a paperless environment.”

Features like Tyler Public Safety’s case manager and reporting dashboards, coupled with Incode’s case inquiry and warrants management applications, will help police departments and courts share information.

“Brentwood’s investment in Tyler’s integrated software will reduce paper-driven processes for the city while delivering real-time access to information across departments for enhanced situational awareness and reporting,” said Brett Cate, president of Tyler’s Local Government Division. “More than 200 public safety departments and 800 municipal court clients nationwide have selected Tyler to provide its case management software and we’re pleased to welcome Brentwood to our growing public safety client base.”

The city of Brentwood has about 40,000 residents and is located in Williamson County, adjacent to the southern boundary of metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County.
