(OTCBB: FLXT) today announced that the company, in conjunction with Bend Tech LLC, has officially launched its shoe insole system, the Mettis Trainer, and the accompanying website. Bend Tech intends to begin marketing the Mettis Trainer through its website. The company expects to have the product available for delivery in early 2015. Bend Tech is beginning to finalize partnerships with larger companies already involved in the athletic shoe industry for distribution.
The Mettis Trainer will provide wireless, real-time feedback on a number of performance metrics, including form, balance, power and speed, to help optimize training. Each insert pad features multiple sensors designed by Flexpoint and featuring their patented Bend Sensor® technology. The pads can be manufactured into different sizes, which can fit within existing shoes or can be manufactured, sized and customized for specific shoes. The sensor is constructed as a single layer so the sensors cannot be damaged or degraded by dust, dirt or other particulates. Moisture and immersion in mud, water, sweat or other substances also do not affect the sensors' performance.
Bend Tech has officially launched its website for the product and is commencing an aggressive marketing campaign. The product will help in the training, performance and injury prevention for professional athletes and amateur athletes of all levels.
Full production and deliveries for the Mettis Trainer are anticipated during Q1 2015.
