TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, SIGNS SAAS AGREEMENT FOR TYLER TECHNOLOGIES’
EAGLE SOLUTION
Tyler’s Eagle Recorder complements county’s existing use of Tyler’s
Munis ERP solution
Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed a five-year
software-as-a-service (SaaS) contract with Tulsa County, Oklahoma, for
Tyler’s Eagle
RecorderTM solution. The agreement includes related
professional services, training and support.
Tulsa County decided to replace an on-premises legacy system that no
longer provided the support and innovation they believe is needed to
provide the service for their citizens. In securing a new records
system, the county wanted a vendor with a solid support team, financial
stability and a strong foundation to serve as a long-term partner as the
county continues to grow.
Already a user of Tyler’s Munis®
enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, Tulsa County recently
migrated Munis to a SaaS delivery model, which has helped reduce demands
placed on the county’s IT staff. The county also wanted a records system
that could be delivered via SaaS to lower upfront costs.
After a thorough review, Tulsa County selected Tyler’s Eagle Recorder
software based on Tyler’s more than 30 years expertise in developing
land and vital records solutions, excellent customer references from
other Eagle Recorder users, and the county’s ongoing success with Munis.
Tyler’s Eagle Recorder solution can be customized to meet Tulsa County’s
unique needs while connecting with other departments so information is
easily shared countywide, reducing staff data entry. Eagle Recorder’s
intuitive user interface allows for easier staff training, enabling
employees to maximize citizen interaction to deliver the exceptional
customer service for which Tulsa County is known.
“Having the cloud-based Eagle Recorder software from Tyler Technologies
will help us remain on the technology cutting edge,” said Tulsa County
Clerk Pat Key. “Tyler’s extensive public sector experience will be key
to not only the support we receive, but also in how Eagle Recorder helps
Tulsa County best serve our residents.”
With Eagle Recorder, Tulsa County’s workflow will be streamlined across
various departments, including land, Web-enabled public access, online
forms, cashiering along with various electronic recording and commerce
functionalities.
“Tulsa County leads in innovation, which is evident by its decision to
have the Eagle Recorder delivered via SaaS. Data will be better shared
across departments, creating efficiencies and increasing productivity,”
said Brett Cate, president of Tyler’s Local Government Division. “Also,
Tulsa County wanted a vendor that offers high-quality support, and Tyler
Technologies is proud to leverage its expertise to provide the support
the county needs to continually provide excellent customer service.”
Tulsa County is the second most populous county in Oklahoma with more
than 600,000 residents. The county is home to the state’s second-largest
city, Tulsa, whose strong business ties to energy, aviation, finance,
computer, and electronics industries are supported by a variety of
institutes of higher learning.
