Employees at 28 Metro Stores Ratify Agreement

TORONTO, July 17, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Metro Ontario Inc. is pleased to announce that the employees of 28 of its Metro stores, represented by UNIFOR Local 414, have ratified a new 4-year collective agreement by 74%.

"We are pleased to have reached a fair and equitable outcome for our employees and our customers," said Carmen Fortino, Senior Vice-President, Metro Ontario Inc. "Our store employees enjoy competitive working conditions and the new collective agreement maintains those standards while continuing to provide the flexibility we need to meet our customers' needs".
